Neratzia – Bitter orange tree

Neratzia is located in the old Athenian neighborhood of Koukaki. In a vibrant location, filled with resilient bitter orange trees (neratzies) as permanent residents of the area.
You will find neratzia trees everywhere in the area, standing tall but humble, observing the neighborhood and its people silently, without performing any action that would betray their presence as anything else than district observers. In combination with the listed classical buildings, they consist an impressive but “simple” scenery.
